Khagendra Thapa Magar, born 14th October 1992, is around 67 cm tall and weighs approximately 5.5 kg.

On October 14, 2010, his 18th birthday, Khagendra officially became the world’s shortest person. But in 2011 he lost the title already to Filipino Junrey Balawing who is 7 cm shorter.

Khagendra comes from a tiny rural village, but since a few years he lives in a two-room concrete house in Pokhara, Mid-West Nepal, with his family.

The family is still poor and international attention that could help the family financially was very short lived.
